Service Directories

This web site contains links to some of the most popular Internet service directories. You can use this section to find out about services and resources in your local area as well as across the whole of the state.

Please use the links on this page to access directories that will provide a broad range of community, health services and promotional information.

There are three main directories that the Inner East Primary Care Partnership is encouraging agencies to use. Each directory will provide information targeted for different uses. Please refer to the information under each link.

The IE PCP encourages agencies to update their own agency and service information in the Infoxchange Service Seeker Database and the Victorian Human Services Directory. There is a link to suggested protocols for information up-dates in both of these resources that you can access at the bottom of each section. This will ensure that the same information is shared across the PCP Statewide Database and the Better Health Channel.

Up-date protocol for ISS

The IE PCP recommends that agencies update their Agency and Service level records in the Infoxchange Service Seeker database, using the on-line forms at the bottom of each record page.

Agencies are encouraged to include eligibility and waiting time information, as well as priority of access information as appropriate.
Eligibility Information should be incorporated into the copy of the Service Description Field.

Waiting time and priority of access information should be contained in the Service Availability Field.
Both of these fields are included in the form template for service information. Inclusion of this information in the relevant fields ensures that the information can be shared with the PCP statewide database and that the information is searchable.
Infoxchange will ring agencies every six months to up date the information. The IE PCP will send participating agencies an email every two months to remind them to up date their service records and amend any information that may have changed.

Up-date protocol for Human Service Directory

The IE PCP recommends that agencies update their Agency and Service information in the Victorian Human Services Directory database.

Agencies will require a user name and password in order to up-date their information. If you do not have a user name and password, please contact the data managers for this resource, Data Base Consultants DCA on 03-9320 9070,
or email ssd.admin@data.com.au regarding HSD data updating or system issues.
Or contact Jann Milic at DHS on 03-9616 1454, or email jann.milic@dhs.vic.gov.au for other issues in respect of the HSD.

Agencies are encouraged to include eligibility and waiting time information, as well as priority of access information as appropriate.
DCA will prompt agencies with an email every six months if information hasn’t been up-dated in that time.
