Priority Areas

In 2009-2010 PCP member agencies participated in a planning process to identify the key priority areas for health promotion in the Inner East region.

From this planning process a decision was made to focus on mental health and wellbeing. Based on regional population research, two health determinants were selected as priority areas; Prevention of Family Violence and Social Inclusion.

PCP Strategic Goal To enhance mental health & wellbeing
Priority Area Goal
Prevention of Family Violence  To prevent family violence within the Inner East PCP catchment, with a key focus on primary prevention of violence against women.
Social Inclusion To build socially inclusive communities within the Inner East PCP catchment
