Tuesday 28th October: Forum to highlight issues for CaLD communities regarding risks of being Guarantor - 'A Matter of Trust'

This session will highlight the risks for older members of CaLD communities when acting as Guarantor for their family.

In partnership with ECLC, Sheriff’s office and Victoria Police we are hosting a community conversation to raise awareness of the cultural issues that impact on decision making for older family members when being asked to provide financial security within their family and what happens when if goes wrong.

The National lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans/transgender and intersex (LGBTI) Ageing and Aged Care Conference 2014 aims to ensure that the needs of older LGBTI people are understood, respected and addressed in Australia's aged care policies, programs and services.
