Tuesday 28 June: GoWomen in the East - Workshop

Are you thinking of standing for council? What to know more about help for women candidates? Want to expand your influences on the issues you care about?

Our workshop will help you to

How are families adjusting to the 21st century? What are the challenges facing families? What is working to help families overcome obstacles and disadvantage and what is not? How do we create a society that supports families to provide a foundation for future health, development and wellbeing?


Thursday 7 July: Engagement Lab innovation and community engagement training

Queen Victoria Women's Centre Melbourne. 9.00am-4.00pm
A new workshop called Engagement Lab for plan-makers in local government.
The aim is ensuring high levels of community participation in plan-making for services, strategies, and infrastructure. Which usually means making it easy, making it fun, going where people are, making it a game, making it social, and adding food.
